George Nedwick is the founder, owner, and principal architect of George Jon (GJ), a pioneering eDiscovery data infrastructure specialist delivering stable, scalable, fault tolerant, and fully managed data environments. Under George’s leadership, George Jon has grown from an IT startup to an internationally acclaimed industry leader, with 50+ employees serving high-demand clients around the globe from their headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.

George is a world-class systems architect who has spent over a decade perfecting a performant, scalable, modular eDiscovery framework that can be replicated and managed for clients around the world. Recognizing a deficiency in technical expertise, storage capabilities, and cost-effective oversight within the eDiscovery industry, George methodically built a team to address this challenge. This includes forging partnerships with hardware manufacturers (Dell), software providers, and leading industry search platforms to develop best practice methodologies for optimized infrastructure, specifically designed to meet the demanding needs required for eDiscovery searches.

George has developed clients in multiple vertical markets, including multinational corporations, leading law firms, government agencies, consulting firms, and premium service providers. He has proven expertise in working with sensitive/classified data and is well versed in navigating complex international data export laws.

The backbone of the George Jon data environment stems directly from interaction with Dell, constantly working together to push the limits of hardware performance and scalability. Dell and George Jon proudly boast a 20+ year relationship of technological innovation and creative problem solving, and GJ exclusively uses the broad spectrum of Dell products to build its baseline network. George has also moved the firm into creation and delivery of proprietary hardware, specifically monitoring appliances that can be placed at client sites to allow for remote access and 24/7 monitoring of all infrastructure components.
